雷镇环，现任上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院副教授、博士生导师，入选国家级高层次青年人才计划（海外）和上海市人才计划。研究方向为政治与制度经济学、法律政治经济学和中国政治经济。在加入上海交大前，他曾担任美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校政治学和公共政策助理教授（2020-2024）和北京大学国家发展研究院访问学者（2022-2023）。他的研究成果发表于Comparative Political Studies, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Political Institutions and Political Economy, the Journal of Politics, Studies in Comparative International Development，和《国家现代化建设研究》。他和郭士祺（安泰经管学院）共同发起和主持了上海交大政经/发展工作坊，2025年秋季的工作坊安排见[这里]。

科研具体方向：

1. 法律政治经济学：关注中国的司法体制改革和立法过程中的政治经济学。

2. 央地关系：关注中国的地方分权实践以及对治理绩效和经济发展的影响。

3. 政治/经济制度史：关注中国古代的制度实践，尤其是对接班人问题和政治稳定的影响（合作者：陈雨新）。

4. 外交：关注外交中的人事问题，尤其是中美等大国的外交官选拔（合作者：陈然）。
